As we celebrate our practice on inauguration weekend it may be helpful to study and practice “The Four Right Efforts”, the practice of Right Diligence. In “The Heart of Buddha’s Teachings” Thay refers to it as Fourfold Right Diligence. In addition to Buddha’s teaching we will also have the opportunity to learn a appropriate song called “The Realm of the Mind” and cultivate wholesome mental formations with the practice of Metta (Loving Kindness) Meditation.
Here (hear) a beautiful version of “The Realm of the Mind” song if interested.
A lotus for you,
Pete

Heather will share about practicing in the garden with Gardening at the Dragon's Gate and Mindfulness in the Garden.
Sunday, January 8
This Sunday, as we start off a new year, we will contemplate how we are using our daily practice to live our lives fully and most in line with our deepest aspirations. We will consider how the Four Noble Truths can inform our daily practice and help us in concrete or practical ways to live the life we want. Marge will be the facilitator.
